FGU Updater doesn't seem to be working...

Hi there,

I've never had any problems applying the updates when available, but when I click the "check for updates" button it says "Beginning Update", but just seems to have stalled out (it says "Getting products" but nothing is happening). It's been this way for about a week now.

Appreciate any input.

We haven't heard any other reports of people having issues with the updater; and I just ran it this morning.

My guess is that whatever security software you use (such as Windows Defender) is blocking the FGUpdaterEngine application from accessing the Internet on your machine. You'll have to check your security software to make sure that FGUpdaterEngine and FantasyGrounds are specifically allowed to access the Internet.

I was coming here to ask this same question. I found that Windows Defender was set to allow FG, so that wasn't the problem. I clicked log and saw the following:

Beginning Update
Getting products...
1 Response received: {"error":"invalid_user"}

So... I went back to the main screen, hit settings, logged in, and then tried updating and it seems to be working as I type this. Just in case anyone else has a similar issue.
