Hey guys, I致e got a bit of an issue and I知 hoping you can help (and that I知 posting this in the right spot).

Lately, whenever I知 DMing and hit "return to launcher" a browser window automatically pops up with a bunch of tabs for the Fantasy Grounds store.
Did I accidentally opt into something I shouldn't have? Any idea how to fix this?

It has to do with the new carousel in the launcher. It's been reported but I don't think a repeatable cause has been found. I'm sure it would help if you could provide more info. I don't know exactly what the devs would need, but I would suggest:
- What o/s are you using?
- Graphic Card and driver?
- default web browser
- Any pop-up setting in the default browser
- is it opening in your default browser?
- if you start FG with the option -nocef does it still occur?

- What o/s are you using? --> Windows 10 Pro x64 v. 22H2
- Graphic Card and driver? --> NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER (8 GB)
- default web browser --> Chrome, but Chromium will be opened
- Any pop-up setting in the default browser --> Blocked
- is it opening in your default browser? no, in Chromium
- if you start FG with the option -nocef does it still occur? --> I've not tried this

I remember clicking on 'Store' in the carousel. The problem started then.

In case it helps, I’ve noticed this happens when I have two instances of FGU open at once—one as DM and one as a player. It triggers right when I hit 'Return to Launcher' from the DM side.

If you reduce the overall FG window to smaller than the default size of the launcher screen with UI scale applied; this can happen. Unfortunately, it's a limitation of the library we're using to display web pages; so we're looking to replace as soon as we have an alternative ready. It's something Carl is already looking at.

+ on the problem

Can verify it has something to do with a second client being open or opening.

If I run the client solo seems ok, when I have the second client running as well then the browser opens.
Also just had it open the browser when I started the second client???

The next big client update will address this issue for good by removing the problematic library completely. Will probably go into beta testing next week.

It will remove Edge? Nice! That causes me plenty of problems.
I'll be happy to test that fix.
