Can someone help me with what I'm doing wrong?

I'm trying to create a poison effect that allows a DC10 Fortitude to avoid it initially, and a DC10 save at the end of every round to shake it off.

I've attached a snip, but this is what I have so far. It does the damage every round but no fortitude saves.

Ascended Kobold Poison; DMGO: 1d4 Poison; SAVE: 10 fortitude

Any help is much appreciated!

Hello.

'SAVE: 10 fortitude' means that the effect grants a +10 bonus to the Fortitude Save, not that there is a roll with a difficulty of 10.
And I don't think there are any effects that trigger dice rolls. Or maybe with an extension?

Effects for all d20 systems are getting a big overhaul which is coming in April (21st but might change). Stuff like this will be a lot easier. Check out the thread here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?86969-Feedback-Thread-2026-04-Ruleset-Updates

Ah dang ok. I vaguely recall being able to do it with 5E but I guess not DCC.

Thanks for the heads up on the +10 save! Definitely not the intention ha ha.

I'm definitely looking forward to that! Thank you very much.

I don't think there is a way to do this with automated removal on a secondary save. Best you can do is add a NOTE: reminder on the poison effect to help the player to remember to roll the save and then manually remove the poison effect

Yea, I was hoping that wasn't the case but it appears to be the consensus. Not the worst thing in the world.
