the text that i'm using is this:

The golem exhales pure force in a 20-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 21 dexterity saving throw, taking 63 (14d8) force damage damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. loosing concentration on any spell if damage was taken

i've used the guide lines in this post here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?35937-How-to-Automate-effects-on-NPCs

but no matter what i try it's aways full damage on a successful throw.

what i am doing wrong?

This should work; that is the wording that is still used for Legacy NPCs. If you are using the 2024 rules the wording has been updated to this "Dexterity Saving Throw: DC 18, each creature in a 60-foot-long, 5-foot-wide Line. Failure: 54 (12d8) Acid damage. Success: Half damage."

So that might be the issue? AFAIK the legacy wording should still work if you are using the 2024 NPC template, but I haven't tested this.
