2.5d content not loading

I made 2 free forge modules that required (used) CRW Deckplan Assets. CRW Starpad and Labratory ship. Yesterday, I was able to get them to load and they were not displaying some 2.5d walls and maybe other stuff. They also showed the 2.5d assets on both top and bottom planes. So If I looked at the map from below it, it showed the 2.5d assets extending downward and if I moved the view to above the map it showed them as normal (extending upward). Hard to explain. But it was missing some walls but showed some walls. So some worked, but extended up and down.

I disabled Labratory ship and CRW Starpad at the time. I decided to re-install so I did that today. I re-enabled CRW Starpad and now it opens a blank window and will not load it.

Can you see if you can load and display it? It definitely worked at one point. (both of them)

I'm trying to figure out if its a local problem for me, or they're just messed up now.

The K Class courrier sample is also not loading. (in CRW Deckplan assets) Its very large with lots of animated assets etc... But used to load no problem.

I'm checking my other stuff too. slowly. It might be a local problem for me. I have 60G free disk space, so thats probably not it.

I'm not familiar with CRW Deckplan Assets and couldn't fund anything listed in the store. Do you the product name?

So I picked up your deck plan assets so I could test. (and to support the cool stuff you do!) FG Forge - View Item (https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/1890/view)
Also grab the starpad module FG Forge - View Item (https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/2171/view)
In a CoreRPG campaign I loaded the starpad module and opened the star pad image.
FG became poorly responsive and the image control panel never loaded (20 minutes or so). Other images do not have this problem.

Not sure if it's related to your modules or something in FG, I suspect the later since they worked previously.

Same with the free labratory ships (2.5d) and the K Class sample deckplan that comes with CRW Deckplan Assets. (I don't think the K Class ship has 2.5d assets, but it has a ton of animations) Thanks LordEntrails. :-) You didn't have to purchase. I'd have gifted it to you for your trouble. :-) I did gift it to pindercarl though. So he can see. Although it should load regardless of wether CRW Deckplan Assets is loaded or not. It's just missing assets if it wasn't loaded. They all did work a few updates ago. (There's even a link to a video in the description showing it working) I'd try other peoples modularized/packaged 2.5d battlemaps but I'm not aware of any available yet? Thanks!

A fix was submitted earlier to address an issue with loading maps that contain a folder with more than one child and a data version earlier than 20251111. I do not know when a new update will be pushed.

They load now. Thanks! my CRW starpoad is still not showing some 2.5d wall assets. same with the labratory ships. Missing some walls but some are still there. a couple floor assets were there and I watched them disappear. At least I can load it now. I don't have time to try to narrow down which walls are missing. I'll have to dig up an old backup copy and see if it loads and do some more toubleshooting on my side. It almost seems like if I toggled sight and locked and unlocked some would then show up in 2.5d mode. Its also possible it just took that long to load some of it. There are some big animations in it too. I'll do some more digging until I'm sure there's a repeatable problem I can pinpoint. thanks again. :-)

Fantasy grounds did do an update when I checked for updates that morning. missing assets showed up and they seemed much better even though I didn't do anything. Today and late yesterday I just wanted to load them again before I re-enabled them and the startpad and labratory ships wont load at all. I did minimal testing other than trying them in 2 rulesets. Not a huge deal. I can just leave them disabled, but wanted to let you know. The good news is that my K-Class deckplan example in CRW Deckplan assets loads fine, :-) It doesn't have any 2.5d assets, but it wasn't loading on my initial report here. Curious if they load for you still? :-) please note that these are big maps with lots of assets and animations. So probably pushing the limits in the first place. But they used to work no problem at all for quite some time. If you need more info, let me know. But I imagine that if they load for you, they should load for me and vise versa. I did a fresh install of recently to try to rule any local stuff out and moved my module directory somewhere else before that. So my module directory doesn't have any of my stuff in it. I wanted to be as sure as I could that it was using just the forge versions.

There was a hierarchy bug that I finally identified on Tuesday and was able to get a partial fix checked-in. The full fix has been submitted and we'll be available in the next update. Even with the partial fix, the K-class courier sample from the CRW Deckplan Assets does load. There are no 2.5 assets, but it sounds like there are not supposed to be. If you'd like me to check the lab ship or starport, I'll need the files for those.

pretty sure I gifted them to you. But I'm willing to bet you have access to them somehow. :-) If you need me to gift any of them let me know. Plus, the lab ship and starpad are free anyway. You just want to have crw deckplan assets loaded for them to look right as they use assets from there. Thanks!

The updater does not update delisted items. I have the CRW deck plans now, but I don't have access to the Forge items. I can see if John can get them for me when he's back.

We just pushed a hot fix release of the application (v5.1.7) that should address the layering issue Carl mentioned. Please run a new Check for Updates; and let us know if still having an issue.

They all load again. But the labships are missing at least some walls. Just checked them real quick before work. will check and load them again later today. thanks. starpad looks much better but I'm pretty sure its missing at least a few walls too.

The bug was breaking the layer hierarchy so some of the layer order may be incorrect.

unfortunately I had a bunch of 2.5d campaigns I was working on as well and when I restored those and tried to load an image I knew was complex it didn't load and I had to kill FGU. :-( At this point, too many issues to narrow down in my local campaigns. If I get enough time, I'll try to test more stuff and maybe look for reproducible issues in multiple campaigns. In the meantime, i'll stick to 2D for now until official 2.5d stuff gets more popular. Thanks for the prompt response and your help though. Even thought they load, I disabled those 2 free forge listings. not a huge deal.
