Is there a way to link a pet or drone to a character sheet?

In Savage Worlds. Allies. Anywhere else GM drags the NPC record onto the character portrait to share the NPC with the character. The player has to keep track of the NPC record.

Right, you can share the NPC card and the player can view it, control it's token, and roll attacks, but they cannot edit the card or use the next actor button.

In other rulesets thst have companions (Starfinder, Pathfinder 2, etc etc) an NPC card is attached to tbe character sheet and the player has full control and can edit and give drag and drop things like weapons and perks, even if only as links in notes

As for Savage Worlds, I've never used the ruleset so I have to context there

That NPC functionality isn't available in Pathfinder 2 - you must be using an extension for that.
