The updater I have for FG seems to have stopped updating. It has also not updated itself for secveral months now. These two facts are probably libnke someow.

I have the Steam edition version 5.1.4 of the main software. But the updater is only at version 5.0.0. Do I need to download everything again?

The current updater version is 5.0.0 so your version is correct. (the updater version isn't necessarily going to be the same as the client version)

Thank you for helping clear that up. Now I just have to figure out why it isn't actually updating my data. If I upgrade from Unity to VTT will that fix my issue with updating the databases not working, or are there no substantial differences between those versions?

Don't know what you mean when you say "If I upgrade from Unity to VTT"

There are no difference between the Steam and the FG Store version. The FG Updater is the same, it call upon the FG servers regardless of where you launched from. Steam is just a front end or wrapper that calls the FG software. You can launch FG without launching Steam by simply finding and running "FantayGrounds.exe" on your computer. Typically in "C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\"

The current version of the client is 5.1.4 so according to your first post you have the correct version.

Check the rulesets sub folder. If the date on the newest file is yesterday, then you're updated.
