Greetings Adventurers,

I am recruiting 4-6 players for a friendly game of D&D 4e on Sun, July 27.

Players who are new to FG2 are welcome! I am familiar with FG2, but only as a player. I have decided to try my hand at DM'ing while everyone is still relatively new to 4e. We will play at a relaxed pace until everyone gets the hang of 4e (and FG2 as the case may be).

Number of Players: 4-6

Day: Sundays (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=315) (link to game calendar)

Time: 9:00 pm EDT (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/) (GMT -5)

Duration: 4 hours

Rules: Dungeons & Dragons 4e

Setting: Generic

Source Material: Player's Handbook, Dungeon and Dragon magazines

Generating Ability Scores: Standard Array (16 14 13 12 11 10) or 22 Point Buy (PHB p. 17)

Pregenerated Characters: Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, Wizard, and Paladin from the module will be available if desired

VOIP: Ventrilo (https://www.ventrilo.com/download.php)

Playstyle: Standard mix of roleplaying and tactics. I plan to keep the story moving at a steady pace and run at least 2 encounters per session. We will run only 1 encounter for the first couple sessions while everyone gets their feet wet.

Website: Keep on the Shadowfell (https://sites.google.com/site/fg2campaign/)

Send me a PM if interested. Please visit the google site for our campaign and download the campaign handout, which has background information to get us started.

Room for one more!

The server is run without a password, so feel free to drop by if you find yourself available on Sunday night. I want regular players, but you are welcome to try our group for a session or two if that is all you can commit to.

The first session went great. The rogue-/leader-free party handled the kobolds without really getting into serious trouble. And that was with some very unkind dice (and a very solid run with the dice for the kobolds)! Next game is Sun, Aug 3.

PM me if interested...

We are making our way through the keep. With 5 solid players rounding out the core group, we are in good shape, but if anyone is interested in joining our group, we could potentially accommodate 1 more player.

That said, if you have played with us previously but have been unable to make it the last couple weeks, you are welcome to join us (again) any time even if you cannot make it every week.

If interested, visit the Google site linked in the OP above. You will find lots of information about the campaign, including highlights of the adventure to this point. Send me a PM if you are new to the group.

What did I miss last night? Sorry, but after caving for eight hours I was beat. What happened? BTW, I know we talked about possibly Judo swapping characters, but staying as a striker. I'm wondering if (assuming Z allows it), he should try out the playtest version of the barbarian at wizards? It's a striker.

If you've still got room for another player, i'd be interested in joining. Playing a game would be a pleasant change of pace to DMing one, takes up less prep time too.
