One of my players is visually impaired. We are just starting with FG and he said, he could work around the barriers. He especially mentioned the vertical text in the character sheets as difficult to see.

However I wanted to ask the community for experience, tips, mods or workarounds to improve accessibility.

We are playing pathfinder 1e.
Thanks in advance.

The first thing is /scaleui command in chat that is individual to each computer. This allows the screen to be scaled independently. For example:
/scaleui 250

They probably already know, but their are various magnifying glass style tools (some built into operating systems) that allow parts of the screen to be zoomed/blow up.

Next, the GM/host you can load theme extensions. This will impact all players, but this can affect anything. Specifically color schemes & text size etc. You can search the Forge for them. The Product Type will be "Skin" or just by the search term "theme"

For example: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/12/view
I thought there were more than this, but it's the only one returning on the search for me today.

You can also just search for "Theme" with a product type of Extension. Example:

As well you can search for "Font" extensions.
Some Font extensions:
https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/27/view
https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/592/view

I thought there were some vision accessibility themes specifically, but I can't find them atm.
