Adding a Paladins smite...

Hi

How do you add the Paladins smite to the character sheet so it can be included when they choose to use it ?
We are using 5e...

If you are using 5E and build the character within FG, the paladin should have the Spell Divine Smite on his action tab already. If not then make sure you have the PH module open and then click the Character, Spells button on the right and search for Divine Smite and drag and drop it on the Actions tab after unlocking the character. That will do most of the work - it will add an effect for DMG: 2d8 radiant set to [ROLL] and [SELF]. You want to add some more to this base effect. This assumes 5.5 or 5E 2024.

If you are using 5E 2014 (the old version) you have to do it all by hand by adding an effect from scratch.

The effect you want for either version is:


DMG: 2d8 radiant; IFT:Type(fiend, undead); DMG: 1d8 radiant


This is the base 1st level smite and it will automatically do an extra dice of damage for undead or fiends.
