View Full Version : Can I create a story that will have a link to jump to a point on the SAME map?

I have googled this and there is some instructions from AI but I don't understand, it mentions

"Link to the Spot: While you cannot directly link a pin to a coordinate, you can drag the image link to the story entry itself, or, if you are just trying to navigate, simply create separate story entries for different areas and use them to jump between them."

Dragging the image link doesn't work, it just opens it up wherever you had it open last. Basically is there way where the map itself will move to another point on same map (i.e. from a teleport)? Thanks.

No you can't. If you want to move a party on the map to a different part of the map you just drag and drop them again from the combat tracker again by dragging the green "friendly" button at the bottom of the tracker to the new location on the map. Doing this also clears our the fog of war - which is exactly what you want in that case.

Diablobobs Portals Revamped extension lets you move the party around maps and onto different maps. It is free now I think on The Forge.

You can drop map links onto maps, so for example stairs leading to level 2 of a dungeon can have a map link for level 2 put on them.
