I am encountering a error when I load FG saying one of my campaigns "is missing a root node". Is there any way to fix this? I havent touched that file in months.

Sounds like the database has become corrupted. You can try loading an earlier save https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/1207304196/Restore+Campaign+to+an+Earlier+Save

It might also be the CampaignRegistry.lua file that's the issue. Try starting a new campaign and then copy the db.xml from the problem campaign and dropping it into the new one (overwriting the db in the new campaign).

Back up everything first before you do any of the above.

Which file is reporting the error? It should have been listed in the error message.

campaign.xml just contains the ruleset and type of connection used by the campaign. You can copy one from another campaign of the same ruleset. campaign.xml will be one of the first files loaded, so the issue will be if there are other files that have problems.
