Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden

Play Style: Leaning heavily into the Survival Horror tropes that inspired this adventure's creation. Think John Carpenter's The Thing. Expect to have to contend with harsh rules for hypothermia, starvation, and betrayal from people you thought were allies.

About me:
Hi there, my name is Joshua, and I am a trained actor, children's entertainer, and professional storyteller who has been running games of D&D professionally as my full-time job for nearly a decade now (and I have been running games recreationally for a decade longer).
I love introducing the game to new players, so if your lack of experience is a barrier to entry for you, look no further; I'd be happy to walk you through everything. Your first session with me is FREE, so you risk nothing to give it a try.
I will work with groups to make a safe space for players of all backgrounds, be they LGBTQ+, players of colour, or players with neurodiversity.

I am a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (no cost to join or download Fantasy Grounds).
How will character creation work?
Players may participate in a session 0 for character generation. Characters can be created directly in Fantasy Grounds. You can use any of the three standard methods for ability score generation, but if you choose to roll dice, you must do so with the group watching and have to keep what you roll. Standard array and point buy are available for those who don't take well to taking risks when it comes to character creation.
Why pay to play D&D?
There are lots of reasons that a player might have trouble finding a consistently reliable DM for a campaign. I simply will not flake or ghost on you.
Here are the facts:
* You have the ability to leave the campaign at any time, and the only way I can get you to stay is by providing high-quality entertainment that makes you feel you are getting value.
