Hello everyone,

It’s with bittersweet feelings that I’m sharing that my last day with SmiteWorks will be February 25th. As I prepare to step away, I’ve been reflecting on what an epic journey the past nearly two years have been with Fantasy Grounds. Watching the platform grow, evolve, and reach new milestones has been both exciting and deeply rewarding, and the passion of this community has been truly inspiring.

I want to personally thank Doug and John. They’ve been wonderful to work with, and it’s been a privilege to see firsthand their vision and commitment - not only to the product, but to the people behind it. Over the course of my career, I’ve learned that truly liking the people you work with is rare, and I’ve been fortunate to experience that in abundance during my time here. The entire team is deeply passionate about what they do, and it shows. Because of that dedication, everyone using Fantasy Grounds now - and in the years ahead - has some great things to look forward to.

I’m moving on to my next adventure (the kind I won’t be able to talk about for quite some time), but if you’re curious about what’s next for me, feel free to keep an eye on social media, and definitely check out the Invincible - Superhero Roleplaying game that I’m writing and designing if you like to play as superheroes!

For now, I’m incredibly proud of what the team accomplished during my time here. I’ll always be a fan, watching with eager anticipation to see where Fantasy Grounds goes next. I look forward to its continued growth and success in the days ahead.

Thank you all for your support, your enthusiasm, and for the part each of you has played in making this such a meaningful experience for me. The road goes ever on… and I wish you all the very best as you travel it.

Later, gators!

I also want to wish Adam well. I remember meeting Adam when we were direct competitors. He was heading up D&D Beyond and doing a fantastic job. Despite this, I could tell he was a good guy. I met him a few other times, and each time was very respectful and pleasant -- despite being in competing businesses. When the opportunity came to bring him on board at SmiteWorks, we made room for him right away. Looking at everything he has contributed so far, it is very clear that we made a great decision.

It is sad to see him leave. It will be tough shoes to fill, but he leaves us with some great momentum in many key areas.

I wish you the very best Adam, in all that you do.
