View Full Version : Default loaded modules don't stick to campaign setup wizard?

I was testing something else, so I created a new 5E campaign.
New campaigns get the setup dialog which allows to i.e. decide which modules to load:
66589
66590
66591

Selecting the 2014 core rules shows the expected modules as loaded (even though I'm not sure about monster manual not showing legacy here)>
66592

But it actually loads most 5E rule books with character options I own, including 2024 rules.
66593
Also I still need to go into options and switch to legacy, even though I already selected to load 2014.

(If I select nothing in the setup wizard, it still loads the 2024 books and character options like XGtE, TCoE, MToE etc...)

This seems pretty unintuitive to me.

We will most likely be retiring the Setup wizard module selection; as the auto-load triggers first and it never hooked into the options.
A new 5E campaign should load 2024 books (if available); otherwise, 2014 books (if available); otherwise, 5.2 SRD.

With v5.1.x; you can now export module selections and option selections to files, which you can import into any new campaigns; so you can build presets for the kinds of campaigns you want to set up.
