Good morning all,

Is there a way to point an existing image at an existing asset that you have moved ?

(This is an old campaign where I took the assets out of the FGU folder for a new one, but now I want to use the big complicated map again. I've put the assets back inthe FGU Folder, but it is detecting some, not others)
The bottom layer "Stolen Lands" exists in the asset folder, but the image just isn't displaying it.
I know I can just add it back as a new layer, but that usually borks the placement and LOS etc.*
Is there a way to say to the image - "Hey, you see that 'Stolen Lands' layer you can't find - it's here!"
Or even find out where it is trying to look so I can just move the asset?

*And I have also saved the campaign as a module, so that will be my fallback, but this does happen at other times and if there is an easy way to do it it would be very helpful

If you move an asset that is currently listed inside a campaign then FGU will lose the link to that asset. If you put the asset back into the exact same folder that it was in initially then it should be able to find it again since the link will still be pointing to that location. Any files that are listed in the campaign will be found in the images folder inside the campaign folder; so that's where you need to place the image. However if you made any changes after you moved the image then it might still get lost (the image must also have exactly the same name as well including the file type).

Layer assets in an image are linked by their file path within the FG asset structure. If the path and filename in the layer don't exactly match the asset path and filename, then the image can't be added to the layer. The information is stored in the campaign db.xml file. If you need assistance with identifying the correct path, upload your db.xml file from the campaign directory here and we'll take a look.

Thank you as ever, both.
Trenloe for assuming that the letters db.xml would not fill me with terror, and Zaccheus for aiming his answer at my level of competence :-)
You will be unsurprised to hear I just reloaded it and then resized/moved etc. It only took about five minutes, I was really just wondering if there was an easy system I didn't know about because I'm lazy.

(PS, the "spread some reputation around first" rule perhaps makes me look insufficiently grateful when one of you Immortal Supreme Deities descends to help me out several times in quick succession. As many have said, the supportive nature of this forum really helps me and my players enjoy running games using FGU)
