My Barbarian has a magic weapon that does extra damage to fiends and undead. I have found the correct buff to apply to the player BUT it activates on ALL of his weapons not just the one that has the effect.

IFT: TYPE (fiend, undead); DMG: 2d6 radiant

I have looked at other weapons such as Dragon Slayer weapons but they dont have anything built into them to automate the damage. So there some extra clause I need to add that will make only "Oathbinder" the weapon that does the extra 2d6 damage or do I need to change something with the item itself.

I have tried to add the IFT to the weapon's damage but that doesnt work

Are you using plain Fantasy Grounds, or are you using the Advanced Effects extension (https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/68/view) on top of it? The title makes me thing that you are using the extension, but the rest of the post doesn't.

If you aren't using that extension, I don't think plain FGU allows you to have effects "conditional to using a weapon": you'll have to activate and deactivate the effect in the combat tracker depending on what weapon you are using (each effect has an on/off/skip button in the combat tracker)
If you are using that extension, make sure that you have selected "Action only" in the dialog where you add the effect to the weapon.

I do not have the Advanced Effect extension but will abolutely add it now and play around with it. Thanks!
