Greetings to the Fantasy Grounds team. I wanted to mention that version 5.1 is running terribly. There are noticeable FPS drops on the maps, and my players' games are constantly crashing. We've tried using the PREV version, but it keeps sending us back to 5.1. Your help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance for your time :D.

We pushed an update about 4.5 hours ago that fixes several issues like that. Please run a new Check for Updates, and let us know if still having issues.
If so, please zip up your campaign folder, and provide the name of the map you are using; so that we can investigate.

Yes, we were just testing it with all the updates installed and it's still the same. Excuse my ignorance, but I compressed the folder to zip and it won't let me add it to the forum. How can I share it with you?

I also noticed an issue with the new update. Seems to be a memory leak. I only had it open with the map I have been using for my game and noticed that Fantasy Grounds Unity kept using more and more ram. I even had it crash on me and when I went to look on task manager (for something unrelated) I noticed that Unity has used almost all of my 64GB of ram before I closed it.

@Sedart,
You can provide a link to Dropbox or Google Drive download; and we can get it from there. The forums have a file size limit.
@Scribeofthedamned,
Can you provide a zipped up copy of your campaign folder, and the name of the map that is causing the issue?
Thanks,

Here's the link; the map is called Wave Echo Cave (Phandelver and Below folder).

Yes, the same thing happens to me, and to my players too, even though we have good computers (with RTX 50 video cards, i9 processors and 64 GB of RAM).

Chatting with my buddy Scribeofthedamned, the memory leak happens when he activates a mist effect.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but just reporting back that we had to cancel our game tonight as my server kept crashing/timing out. No console errors, it would just become unresponsive quickly once we opened a battlemap and started moving a few tokens around (no LOS walls on the map too).

Please provide details. Rulesets, extensions, modules, steps to reproduce etc. Without actionable details, the developers are not going to be able to trouble shoot your issue. @samster,
We pushed an update around 11 PM Pacific Standard Time that addressed some of those issues; so we'd be very interested to hear if that campaign and map you were using are still showing the issue or not.
We already fixed a couple items that affected people, and tracking a couple more; but want to make sure we don't lose yours, and verify whether it's one we addressed or not already.
Thanks,

Watching as I have exactly the same issue since 5.1.1. Thought it was my PC and ended up doing a restore of windows and a fresh FGU install but alas, still very poor performance in my campaign. I use two monitors, extended (Laptop plus external). I did notice one change in so much as in prior versions when the laucher window opened on my laptop display, I would drag it to the external monitor and the window would resize correctly, on 5.1.1 it does not.
Window on laptop 66452
Same window dragged to external display 66451

I've responded in the separate thread where you provided all the info. I've forwarded your data to Carl; and will respond there.
