Hello dear friends

i'm still fairly new to Fantasy Grounds and I love it. I DM'ed 2 Session so far and it is fun! (DnD 5e 2024)

I'm trying different things. I was curiouse about custom classes / races.

I copied the cleric class and added a feature choice for "Divine Order" (Pupskopf). I also added the feature "Mega Hirn" with two Feature Choices:
66291

Now in the character wizard to create a class. I can chose my custom class.
For "Divine Order" the added choice is there, but not for my custom feature "Mega Hirn":
66292

I also tried to rename "Divine Order" to some thing different, but then the choices vanish, too. I also exported the class to a module and tried loading from the module, but no change.

A different thing i tried was adding a custom spell list and i cant chose spells known from there. (I guess here im missing something?)

My guess is, this is completely normal behaviour for custom stuff and i need to add them "manually" to the character sheet later. Which is not realy a problem, just checking if i handly FGU correctly.

Can you make a module with that class and post it here for me to test with?

Thanks for the reply

I started my "Test-Campaign" (Dnd 5e) only with "Theme - DnD" Extension active.

I added some more features to the custom class. I copied "Divine Order" and re-named it "Define Orderly"

I found the problem with my spell-list. In the definition, it needs to have the same name as the class. This works now as expected for me.

I exportet all record type to the module. It should only contain the custom class and the spell list definition

The feature choices that you have can only be used with official content since they are hard coded. If you change the name of a feature with choices then FGVTT won't see it since again the names of the features and their choices are hard coded.

So you'll need to either make the choices manually or keep the names where you want a choice the same as in any of the official classes.

Do you have the Rules Version set to 2024 in the options?

Thanks @Zacchaeus

Thanks for the explenation, I suspected this might be the case.
Perhaps this could be a feature for the character creation wizard in the future ;) For now, adding it manually to the character sheet should not be a problem
