I am trying to change my Strength, Speed, etc. but they are locked without me being able to edit them. I do not see any lock icon anywhere. Is there another location that actually changes the stat blocks you are supposed to edit?

I'm investigating this now, thanks for reporting.

Update from the 21st made it to where you can't edit any attributes now.

There was an update today that added to the attributes to use the new effect system. Now to edit the base attribute, you have to click the score, edit it, and then press enter to save the change. Anything else that breaks the focus from the edit won't save the new value.

Still can't edit attributes of NPC's or players successfully.

Update 2026.1HF1
Fixed inconsistent character attributes. Current functionality is that the default attribute will show the total of the default score and all bonuses from the effects tab. Single clicking into the attribute will start editing it, and the number will change to just the default score without any bonuses. Hitting enter will save the new number as the default score, hitting escape will leave the edit mode and revert to the default functionality. Double clicking or dragging the dice out will briefly show the base score, but return back to the total when the system realizes a dice roll is occurring. This is a temporary solution until I can make a broader standardization pass with the ruleset.
As for NPCs, you have to copy them before you can edit them.

This is still not working for NPCs. I made a copy of an NPC, attempted to updated attributes and they zeroed out.

I'm still working on a fix for this.

Also encountering this issue. With most recent update, can not find any way to edit STR/SPD/INT/WIL/AWA/PRE.
Seems like it may be possible to hack a workaround by exporting the character, modifying, then re-importing, but haven't tried it.

Update: I misunderstood this previous explanation. I am actually able to successfully edit them like you say by clicking on the attribute, typing the new number, then hitting enter. There are just no visual changes to show you that you are making edits so it is confusing. But it is still functional!
