View Full Version : Variant human feats available to players

This is an old question, but maybe it will still get an answer.

I am running "Lost Mines of Phandelvor and Below", and both I and my players have all the "legacy" and free rules. When they try to create a Variant Human and are instructed to choose a feat, they must first choose the source of the feat (Makes sense) but no matter what source they choose, only two or three feats show up for selection. This is odd since, once the character is created and committed to, they can drag any feat they want from the feats tab and drop it on the character sheet. So yes, there is a workaround. But it sort of messes up the character creation process since they aren't experienced, and don't really know what feats are available while building the character in the character wizard. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Welcome to the FG forums!

I've moved your post from the thread it was posted in as it really had little to do with that thread subject (players selecting portraits and tokens). Please only post in a thread if your issue/question is 100% the same as the thread content - it's totally fine to create a new thread to ask your specific questions. This makes it more efficient and on topic for everyone reading and trying to help. Thanks!

The legacy SRD rules don't have variant human. Which module are you attempting to use?

You'll need at least the Player's Handbook (Legacy) to see anything other than a small selection of feats. Make sure that, if you have that book, that your players have loaded the module.
