This is a simple extension which looks for tools in the PC's inventory when that PC's Skills tab is opened. For any that are found, it adds an entry in the Skills tab. It should work with any tools, but works best with 5E 2024 tools, which have the Utilize and Craft actions.

UPDATE: It includes one minigame (for Cooking), and I hope to add one for each type of toolkit.

Just wanted to report that it seems this extension was broken with the recent system overhaul update.

Thanks for posting, I'll take a look.

Looking into it further and it may be caused by another extension. I'll check through my extensions and report back with something more concrete.

EDIT: Apologies, it appears that it was an error with the StealthTracker extension. False alarm.

Ok, good. I haven't duplicated any issues so far, but if you can identify a conflict with another extension, please let me know, and I'll see if I can make a change to avoid it.

I added a toolkit-based minigame, accessed by ALT-clicking on the toolkit roll button.

This one is for cooking, based on the Hilander Dice Soup (https://hilanderrpgs.bearblog.dev/how-to-eat-dice-soup/) (used with permission).

It's a simple, poker-like dice game that the DM might allow in place of a short rest. Characters can heal (or even remove conditions) depending on the quality of the meal (as determined by the dice "hand").

I hope to implement other toolkit-specific mini-games - let me know if you know of one you like, and I'll see if I can add it.

It this screenshot, #3 says "The DM can click "Finish" to show the results -- however, the player was the only one who could see the image. Meaning that I (as the DM) couldn't click "Finish"

Also, what other toolkit fun things do you have in the works?!?!

Doh! Thanks for letting me know, I'll fix that asap.

I'm currently working on a lockpick mini-game, but I don't have an ETA yet.

If anyone knows of any mini-games that might be suitable for toolkits, please post a link. I'm happy to contact the author and give credit, of course.

Ok, should be fixed now (once you update). Thanks again for letting me know!

When a client (player) starts the game, the window will open on the host (DM) screen too. The DM can right-click for a Share option to share the window with all of the clients if so desired.
