Is there a way to have DMG add to only magic damage?.

I'm going to run a game with no magic weapons so the only magic damage would be spell related and the PC will have small bonuses to magic damage. This is purely so we don't have to keep turning it on and off in the combat tracker when they attack with weapons.

Cheers

Since 5e doesn't have a specific damage type of magic there's no effect that will add magic damage. The normal effect DMG: x, or ndn, would be what you'd want to use applied just before any damage is rolled.
The Better Combat Effects Gold extension will do this (probably), but that comes with a lot of other stuff that you might not need.

Or just edit the damage of the spells to give the bonus.

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for but there is an extension that may do this:

I don't have it but figured I'd mention it.

Not sure it's supported anymore. It's 990 days since last update.
I believe JKeller has recently posted about creating a new Damage Types extension.... https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?86366-Weapon-Damage-Options-(5E)
Not sure if it would do this though.
