I can't get the battle maps I share to work on the other end. They get the maps, the grid and tokens can be seen but the map image is black. Not sure why this is happening now, have not changed anything.

More than likely you'll have lighting enabled from the Image play menu (unlock the image and click the d20 tab if you're not there already) - as a test, first turn lighting off. If you want lighting enabled, add the PC tokens from the combat tracker and, if they have appropriate lighting effects or vision, the player will need to click on their token to reveal what they can see.

If it's not lighting, it may simply be image size and it has'nt downloaded to the players. Either due to time or possible flood protection on the networks.

The maps are going to them with grids and tokens but the actual image is black. They can target other tokens and move tokens but no image. These are images from modules. It is not only maps. Images I send are completely black.

Unlock the map and select the Play menu (the first option) and then disable lighting - if it's already disabled take a screenshot and post that here.

66267 This is a screenshot from my end but I can see the entire map. The other two players can't. Do you want a screenshot from them. They can't disable lighting on their end.

Can you test in a new campaign with no extensions and only the Shattered Obelisk module loaded to see if players can see the map? I'm wondering if you have shared too much and the players are running out of memory. If you have shared a lot of images and if the players have a lot of modules open then possibly their computers are struggling. They could try closing down FGVTT and then clearing their cache. Go to the FGData folder and open the cache folder and then delete the folder inside that with the campaign name on it. Meantime before your players reconnect open the campaign on your end and type /flushdb into chat and press return. This will unshare everything that you have shared with your players. Also go into module activation and click on the share filter to see what modules are shared with your players. Click the green tick on ever module that the players don't need. Once you have done that and your players have cleared their cache have them rejoin to see if that fixes the issue.

Another possibility is that the data is simply not getting transmitted to your players, possibly due to anti virus blocking it or something on your router. (this is actually more likely on their end really but since it's affecting all of your players then it might be your end). So make sure you have whitelisted FGVTT in your Av, and it might not do any harm to reboot your router as well.
