I am looking for a way to hide all the backgrounds from the 2024 rules classes. While I know they are compatible, I really don't like them. I would like to find a method to conceal them. I understand that you can filter by each module, but newer players in my group are taking longer to set up their characters.

The character wizard has filters that will only display the module data and show those options from that module. The only way to remove those backgrounds would be to unload the 2024 core rulebook and related modules that contain those background records.

Thank you very much

Yep, you should only load the modules you want available, (Library > Activation). As DM, you can mark player facing modules as unavailable (the red x) so they don't load them as well.

Don't forget to "X" the 5E SRD 5.2.1 Player Data module as well. Player's often find the SRD modules since they are on by default.
