Details of the Scenario / Campaign Pitch

In the coastal realms, crowns are fed not by bloodlines—but by trade.
Empires rise or fall not on battlefields, but on whether their ships arrive.

Ports grow fat while sailors starve.
Guilds grow rich while islands disappear from maps.
Laws stretch thin the farther you sail from land.

The sea remembers everything that sinks beneath it.

You are not lords.
You are not kings.
You are people who live in the space between contracts, borders, and tides.

Smugglers, sailors, envoys, mercenaries, merchants, exiles—
people whose lives are shaped by currents both political and literal.

And sooner or later, every choice costs passage.

This is a homebrew, narrative-focused campaign with:

Deep worldbuilding

Political intrigue and moral consequence

Character backstories woven directly into the plot

What I Expect From Players

18+ only (DM is 25)

LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful of all identities

Interested in roleplay, character growth, and collaborative storytelling

Comfortable sharing spotlight and engaging with other PCs

Reliable attendance and communication

What I Don’t Want

Bigotry of any kind (zero tolerance)

Rules-lawyering that disrupts play

Murderhobo behavior

Pure min/max builds with no narrative interest

Players who are uncomfortable being recorded

This table is meant to be safe, welcoming, and creatively rich.
If that sounds like your kind of game, I’d love to hear from you.

Hey there!

I'm a DM with 9+ years of experience behind me. I often run home brew games with intricate worldbuilding

I would love to find some liked mind individuals that also want to play dnd but are unable to find a group.

Some more for you guys. I am looking to run the group on Sundays, from 2pm to 6pm est (it can end earlier around 5pm).

All I ask is that everyone is 18+ as I'm 25 and only feel comfortable with people above the age of 18. And for everyone to be LGBTQ+ Friendly as I am nonbinary and acearo, and I have a partner that is transmasc and nonbinary. I don't tolerate hate of any kind, whether it be sexuality, gender, race, ableism, or another form of persecution. I want everyone to feel safe and welcome!

Another small detail, I would like to turn the campaign into a podcast. I will be doing all the work and editing for it.

Thanks for your time!

And finally, the hook I have for the campaign to hopefully drag in the right people!

I see that you are not running the game on Fantasy Grounds and that is a violation of our posting policy for games. If you are not running the game on fantasy grounds, then we will be deleting the thread as only games for our platform are to be posted in our forums. I can recommend other sites that are best for advertising games like https://startplaying.games/ or https://warhorn.net/
