Using 2024 rules but shouldn't matter for the request.
I don't believe the encounter challenge calculator currently accounts for any friendly NPCs in the calculation. Would it be possible to have an option to include those in the calculation to help easily see if things are going to be balanced? Obviously the friendlies wouldn't be included in the XP calc.
