Campaign book not saving.

I am working on several official campaigns that I am linking together with my own work. I am creating my own work in the campaign book. Recently, the campaign book doesnt save my work, this has not always been the case which makes it even more confusing. The campaign save folder is NOT marked as read only. This is frankly unforgiveable for a DM, this is hours of work we are talking about and this just cannot happen. I have never encountered it before in any other VTT and I am now considering leaving FG for good, because I cannot accept this.

I understand your frustration, but this is not normal functionality - FG isn't designed to make you lose your work!

You've come to the right place to get some assistance. Can you provide some more information - what operating system are you using? What ruleset are you using? Are you using any extensions? Do you have your FG data directory setup to backup/sync to a cloud storage provider (Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)? Log back into the campaign you've been using to create the Book and collect the logs and post them here - link in my signature, use "Method 3".

From your question I solved it myself, because I was using module maker. I disabled it, made a change, wrote /save in chat and voila. thank you!

Glad you fixed it! One of the golden rules of using extensions in FG - if you have issues when running FG, first look at the extensions you're using.
