HI,
Just started playing a play-by-mail D&D game via Discord bot and while it's pretty cool I can't help thinking it would be even smoother done on FG. I might experiment!
I wondered if there was a way to lock things so that each player can only act when the combat tracker says it is their turn? Not that I would expect players to do so on purpose, but it would be useful to prevent mistakes given that I'd be GM'ing asynchronously as well. It's not the same as token lock - I don't want to approve everything. I just want to make sure people don't act outside their turn.
It's not a big deal if not, I still think FG would be an interesting and fun way to do this and my players are usually pretty trustworthy. But I can see the utility of it for this particular form of play. A forum search didn't turn anything up bit this is exactly the sort of thing I could imagine someone writing an extension to do- anyone know of one?
Cheers, Hywel
