Player unable to join old campaign

A continuing player has been stuck on "requiring files" list all day. Checked firewall. RE-loaded from Steam and the site, alternately after deleting everything including cashes and files. Has anyone had this issue figured out a solution?

Version mismatch? What version is the GM running and what version is the playing running?

3.5 DnD. 5.0.0 on everyone's updates. We were all able to play last Sunday and just the one is getting stuck. This would have been our fourth session on this campaign.

If it is just one that usually means it's a problem with his computer. It could be security software: anti-virus or firewall. Or since he is failing the initial files - flood protection from the router.

Have him try again and get and post his log after the attempt.
