Were older campaigns such as Curse of Strahd updated for the newer 2024 ruleset?

Am I forced to play the legacy ruleset as some links do not work without it being activated.

Thanks!

No, older modules can't be updated because that would breach all sorts of copyright (and not everyone switched over to the 2024 rules). You can certainly still use the older modules with the 2024 rules without even having to change anything. The only links I can think of that might not work are links directly to the 2014 Core books such as the PHB, or DMG if you don't own them or have them open. I can't think that there are many of those so you should be able to relink them to the 2024 books.

But if you have specific ones that aren't working and you think they should then let me know and I'll look into correcting them.
