When I try to use the Paizo account sync from: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/syncPaizoAccount.php
All I see is this error message. it worked for me just fine last month.
This function is currently unavailable. It will be up as soon as we are able to re-establish connection with Paizo.com's new web server API.
Any idea on when it will be working again? Was hoping to pick up FG modules that I already have purchased on Paizo with the discount this week.

Paizo redid their API when they rolled out the new website. The new API is not currently working. They are actively working on it. Unfortunately, I have no ETA at the moment.

We're still waiting to hear back from their developer. The API that Paizo provided is still not working as of Monday afternoon.

The "Send Purchase Info to Paizo.com" button appears to work - at least it says it's synced.
The "Retrieve Paizo.com purchases" button give this error:
Your authorization token is expired or missing. Please De-Authorize Account and then follow the insructions to re-Authorize your account. This will generate a new authorization token.

I've de-authorized and re-authorized three times and get the same result.
I seem to have discounts available, but this doesn't include the most up-to-date products - e.g. Pathfinder 2 RPG - Lost Omens: Draconic Codex (PZOSMWPZO13007FG)

Looks like it mostly working but it need all the stuff that was release since they did this cause I don't see starfinder 2e alien core, pf2e monster core 2 either, and I own the pdfs for those.

I see that Demiplane is now recommending that people generate new Paizo Connect authorization codes ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2e/comments/1pj6b68/paizo_connect_demiplane_back_up/ ).

I just did a De-Authorize/Resync here on FG with no success (for any of the most recent 5 PF2/SF2 titles). It *did* work on Demiplane, though (at least for Monster Core 2... didn't check others over there)... FWIW.

I also re-authorized my token yesterday and today, but its not pulling the draconic codex, monster codex 2, or the starfinder alien codex for my discounts either, despite my purchases.

It's not syncing for me either. I bought PF2E Monster Core 2 and Draconic Codex and its not showing up in my paizo library when I click on "Send Purchase Info to paizo.com".

The issues have been reported to Paizo. We are still waiting on a fix from them for it. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this from our end at this point. Once it is corrected, you will be able to sync and gain access to your PDFs -- or get PDF discounts again on our end.

We are currently on standby, waiting to see if Paizo needs us to change anything on our side. We have supplied Paizo with whatever information we had available to help identify and correct the issue. I don't believe there is anything further we need from customers at this point. Hopefully it will be addressed before the Winter Sale kicks off.

imo this sounds like a browser cache issue. Have you tried another browser or cleaning your cache?

How long should it take for me to see my PF2E purchases on FantasyGrounds show up in my Paizo library to download the PDF? I made several purchases less than an hour ago on FG store, clicked to send purchase info to Paizo.com and have waited but I'm not seeing those purchases show up on Paizo's end. Am I just not waiting long enough?

That was a good call - I thought you may have had it - but I have deleted my Google history, signed in and out of Google, signed in and out of FG, signed in and out of Paizo - and STILL "invalid".

I think this happens because something is incorrectly set up in the new Paizo store database for some titles, such as Monster Core 2. If I view my order containing that book, the product entry says, "Unfortunately this product is no longer for sale so it cannot be reordered", so it seems my order is somehow disconnected from the actual product, so the API cannot authorize the book for me. We can only hope that Paizo fixes this. I have already sent an email last week to their customer service regarding this issue, but I haven't heard back yet.

Please let me know if you were not previously working for these products and if it is now working for you. Please re-sync and let us know if it shows up. It should happen immediately after re-syncing your account. Go to Store > Sync Paizo Account.
Also, you can check in the My Library section since we have a lot of Paizo products in our Beta version of the Fantasy Grounds Online Reader already. If it is converted for the Online Reader, it will show up immediately there.

Those were both resubmitted to the Paizo API this morning (about 45 minutes ago). Have you tried re-syncing since then and checking?

I did my testing while I was writing the post - so, yes, within the last 30 minutes. I've done another test and still no joy for those two.

Double check your Paizo and FG accounts are logged into the proper accounts. I had two Paizo store accounts at one time... doh! Also, make sure you do not have browser security issues that blocks cookies, etx.

Ya Monster Core 2 and Draconic Codex have not appeared anywhere in my Paizo library at all. I bought Monster Core 2 Nov.14th and Draconic Codex Dec.5th. I've de-authorized and re-authorized and tried syncing multiple times. They are not in my Fantasy Grounds "My Library" either.

To clarify - the library is not related to Paizo sync. Neither is a product not being in the library an indication of now owning that product in Fantasy Grounds. The Library is in beta and not all FG products have been converted to the library - hover over the BETA label on the Library page for some further info.

From what I can see, they are short-staffed for the holidays and will be lightly staffed, or unavailable, until after January 5th. Your record of purchase is here, so it's just a matter of getting the sync to work to grant you those at Paizo.com as well.

Steam purchases get sent to Paizo as well as purchases from fantasygrounds.com. The only thing that does not work with Steam purchases is if you buy the PDF from paizo.com first. There is no way for us to apply a discount to the Steam purchase like we do in our own storefront.

Sorry, I meant "Cancel this authorization". From your previous message it wasn't stated if the 6 entries you could see were active or inactive. Only have one SmiteWorks entry active.

It's not working. I just tried this again:
* De-authorize on the FG size
* Make sure all Smiteworks entries on Paizo Connect are inactive
* Cancel and get a new activation code
* Authorize the new activation code on the FG site
* Click on "Retrieve Paizo purchases"
Again, "Error: [8] Undefined index: ownedProducts" appears in the upper left corner of the opage, and an error box at the bopttom: "No Fantasy Grounds products purchased from paizo.com" (which is definitely untrue).
I have tried syncing on diefferent computers, different operating systems, different browsers, fresh profiles, still the same result. Nothing helps.

I absolutely believe this is a Paizo problem with their new site (they were in contact before Christmas).
Ideally post on the Paizo forums as well - I have used this forum

I believe they are trying to fix it and the customer service have been very nice (but a gentle reminder from different people may help)

I am now getting "unable to sync products" on my account as well. I will let them know. I have received some emails this morning, so I think they might be actively working on it. Their server is returning a 504 Gateway Timeout error for me. I let them know and will try again later when they let me know it is operational again.

That normally occurs when the Paizo API is returning NULL. I have reported this to Paizo and I'm waiting on an update from them.

Hi there - I am still unable to get FG to recognise the code from Paizo in order to reauthorise my account- every time it says the code is invalid.
I have been trying for weeks.
I have tried deleting cookies etc, signing in and out of FG and Paizo, but I think there must be something lodged in my account at FG
EDIT: OK, tried logging in to FG via an incognito account - it said I was already authorised and I got my discounts.

They suggested limiting the amount of data we send for purchases from our site. I put a hard cap of 500 and sorted descending by date purchased. In theory, this should pick up any new purchases just fine and any older purhcases were already sent over. Just don't buy 501 new items all at once and you should be fine. :)
I'm still getting a bad response trying to receive the purchase info from Paizo, so I sent that error message details over to Paizo to research.

It looks like the scenario I'm seeing right now is the most recent topic here... so just throwing out a quick "me too" that I'm getting "Unable to sync products" when trying to get my latest FG purchase of PF1: Broken Chains sent back over to Paizo to unlock the PDF. I am *not* in a panic over it, but just tossing my hat in the ring ;)

Fun update: Though I still get "Unable to sync products" when I attempt to do so... my purchase from today DOES now show up over on Paizo. Their side of the sync process is pretty messed up, though. ALL 500 ITEMS being sent are now showing up as "just added to your account TODAY," so I can no longer sort anything usefully over there by acquisition date... and their "last updated" dates were functionally broken even before this (*NOT* an FG issue at all... but figured I'd mention it as a "warning" to others)

Tried, still 'Unable to sync" on the send. I pretty much own all Paizo products (minus a few adventures) - and I have bought some on the FG side I wish to sling back to them. I am good for now (not urgent for me yet), just noting out the failures in attempt to help out on troubleshooting:)

I am sort of having the opposite problem. Not all my Paizo PDFs are being recognised for discount on Fantasy Grounds. Specifically player companion Blood of the Moon. Blood of the night seems to recognise the discount however.

Paizo reached out to me and told me it should be fixed now. I just ran a test send and receive. I still got a timeout on sending my purchases to Paizo, but they recommend decreasing the amount sent further. After dropping it to the 250 most recent purchases, it worked fine for me. Please retest it and let us know if you still experience any issues.

I can confirm that "Retrieve paizo.com Purchases" works again now. I was finally able to purchase Monster Core 2!

No. As far as I can tell it’s just regular player companion “blood of the moon”. It’s on my Paizo library right next to “blood of the night” (which does provide a recognised discount on the fantasy grounds store).
This seems to be my only Paizo PDF that is not being recognised as already owned on Paizo for discount purposes.

I just looked that product up ("Blood of the Moon") and it looks like it was set up for the discount properly on our end and received an acknowledgement from Paizo back in 2023 when it was first set up. Just in case it needed to be re-sent for some reason, I sent over a new setup request to their API for it. That replied that the product already existed... so I'm not sure what the next step might be.
If you can't get it to work, the discount for this product should be $7.99 off. You can always purchase it at full price from us and send an email to
[email protected] with an attachment showing your ownership of it from Paizo.com (dated before your purchase from us) and ask for a $7.99 refund on your purchase. It's not ideal, but it's a potential workaround.

I would recommend trying it as-is first. If that doesn't work for some reason, then go through and create a new token. I haven't heard that it is a requirement for it to work.

Ok. That looks like it still works. And that's good, because I can't even get to a Manage Partner Authorizations over on their site at the moment.
Looks like it's now called "Paizo Connect" on their pages to get to the relevant screens.

I just bought Starfinder 1e drift hackers book 2 and book 3 today from the fantasy grounds store. I tried syncing with paizo. I checked my paizo account to download the pdf's and those 2 books aren't there. Is account syncing still not working?

i bought some pathfinder APs fin the sale and the discount worked for . £3.50 a book is very nice...just need to convert then to savage worlds now....

Existing discount for Paizo pdfs works just fine.
Syncing with Paizo worked during the last sale, but at least PF1e just won´t sync with Paizo right now.

I checked my Paizo account library. It seems like I got a bunch of part copies of dark archives added on Mar. 21st and dark archives(remastered) 27th but no Starfinder 1e Drift Hackers books 2 or 3 yet.

I just got a mail from Paizo´s Customer Service and they are aware of an issue with Paizo Connect not working correctly.
They added the items to my library very fast so kudos to them.
Let´s hope they get this fixed quickly.

It looks like you need to go back through the token authorization steps. De-authorize your current token (it looks like you've done this) and then re-authorize a new token -- from the new Paizo website.
This is what I see for your account on our admin interface:
