What Awaits You in Orbalon?
The campaign begins in the Thren Valley, a land caught between river-born cults, thief guild conflicts, whispering forests, scheming nobles, and the ominous glow of three moons whose phases shape fate itself.
From the decadent courts of Maethoss to the haunted roads of the Caldri Forest, Orbalon is steeped in secrets:
• Noble houses vying for power while making dangerous pacts in the shadows.
• Ancient dwarven ruins where the stone still remembers who abandoned them.
• Moon-blessed rituals and forbidden magic tied to the Silver Harbinger, the Crimson Eye, and the Veil Moon.
• A creeping cosmic dread beneath the soil, and something stirring in the river depths…
The living world is filled with choices, consequences, and mysteries waiting to be unearthed.
Campaign Tone
A blend of:
• Heros are needed
• Political intrigue & moral choices
• Mystery & horror
• Balanced between roleplay and combat
About the DM
A new DM to 5e and Fantasy Grounds. I have a few years of experience running earlier versions of D&D, and Savage Worlds. You’ll be adventuring in Orbalon, a homebrew world that will offer some surprises. It is a somewhat standard DnD world (Gnomes, Humans, Orc, Goblins, Dwarves, etc)
Rules are run fairly, pacing is cinematic, and the goal is for everyone to feel like the hero of their own arc.
I do make use of AI created art for my own campaign purposes and I use AI on occasion to organize and rewrite my messy notes.
Player Expectations
• Attendance consistency for a late-night game
• Respect for fellow players
• A willingness to collaborate and help build the tone
• Creativity encouraged
