Book Select Frame Option

When creating a Book for a Campaign (to be exported later), you have an option to select a frame around the text. Examples include chapter titles and sidebars. My question is: is there an extension to add more frames to the selection, or to customize the frames already there? I'm mostly looking to change the blue frame to, maybe, a pale yellow frame, or a pale green frame.

I believe the number of frames is hard-coded but replacing a frame can be done with a simple extension.

I have no idea how to do extensions. Has it been done?

The problem with creating an extension to do this and then creating am module using the extension, if you try to view the module without the extension then you will have problems. I don't remember if the problem is that you will get errors, if the display will just be empty, or exactly what happens.

In short, yes you can do this, but you don't want to do it for anything that you share or maintenance with be increased.

It will be empty, if you add a custom frame and the extension is not loaded. Additionally, custom frames will not be re-colored when using themes. We actually recommend against using custom frames.

If anything, we recommend creating your own custom theme overall if you want a specific look to the desktop/books.
