View Full Version : Fallout Auto select Weapon mods box is gone?

Hello.

I am experiencing difficulties with the Fallout 2D20 weapon mods, specifically the option for ticking mod selections (grip/barrel/capacitors etc) does not exist anymore. All that happens when I try to add a new weapon mod is a new box appears with many blank fields to complete. I liked the drop-down menu selection that would add the damage/range/crit mods automatically when ticked. Is this supposed to happen? I only have the Light theme extension enabled (so I can read the text) and it was working fine previously.

It is frustrating not being able to quickly select the fields to add mods when a new weapon is found by my players. Otherwise, the game is great :)

That is correct. When mods are added to the item, its assumed they are attached. If they are not on the item, they aren't attached. The item should have links to the mods that were available for the item in the notes section and the person could click to open them and drag them to the item.

Apologies, I misread that and thought you meant adding a mod to the weapon. Here is a image with where the options are located to choose the type of mod.

I don't see any box options for selecting, grip > choice of mod attachment for that category. This is what I now see:

Sorry, am I missing something? some extra field to select? Because all I'm seeing is many blank extra boxes to complete. Barrel chosen - but no option for snubnose or bull?

That's to create the mod to be dragged to the weapon. The core rulebook contains the mods already done, you just need to search for them.
