Side handles disapeared for FG screen?

Does anyone else have this problem? I used to be able to grab the side of the screen to stretch across multiple monitors. Now, there is only one tiny little spot in the top right corner that allows this.

If I move the mouse pointer towards the FG right or bottom window border (or bottom right corner) from outside, when it changes from generic windows arrow to FG arrow is when I can click and drag to resize.
