This is from 18 days ago but haven't seen anyone else post about it here that I found and it seems like kind of a big deal.

D&D Beyond has announced they are ending development of Sigil. The writing was on the wall when they laid off everyone earlier, so this is an announcement a lot of us were expecting, but it's the final nail in the coffin.
I remember being scared of a VTT with the full force of Hasbro and Wizards behind it and what they could do, like locking every D&D Beyond subscriber behind their platform, especially knowing it's the most popular ttrpg in the world, and the bulk of business for vtt's like FGU. But, it looks like they weren't patience enough, or not willing to actually pay the money to invest in it, or both. Once again, the suits at Hasbro have no idea what they have with D&D, nor how to use it.
