Hey guys.
As always thanks for the help and always being so nice and polite in every topic i open over here.
About the whole new "Fantasy grounds is free to play" news. Does that mean that i can host a game to any number of players, regardless if they have a "free license"?
I always DM in person, so i use my own account to connect into my own game as a player and use a TV screen to share to my players. This process puts a heavy load into my notebook because it's specs were meant for work alone.
In the present, I have only one player with a paid license, because he wanted to read the books at his own home, but now, if i understood it correctly; will my players be able to create a free account, and they'll be able to join my campaing with their own notebooks. Is that right?

Yep, there are no longer licenses, their is just the program anyone can download, install and host games.

Own Notebooks.... don't know what that means.
Anyone with a FG forum account (which is free) can join any game hosted by any other person.

Thanks for clarification.
By notebooks i mean their own Laptops (portable PCs).
Sorry, i'm Brazilian, that's what we call it over here.

Ah, well "notebook" makes sense in that context then :) And no need to apologize for language or cultural differences :)

I've always associated "notebooks" with things like a chromebook, something between a laptop and a phone.

A notebook is a physical object made of several sheets of paper, and possible with cardboard or plastic covers, that you write on with a pencil or a pen. :D

Lol.
Over here Laptops are the stronger ones, with a dedicated video graphics card and bigger screens.
Notebooks are the smaller ones, used usually for schools, note taking and navigating the internet.
The paper ones we call Post-it or Bloco de notas which translates no notepad.
Or Caderninho, which translates to little notebook.

Ah, the days of playing TTRPGs with paper notebooks, before electronic notebooks were invented.
In 50 years: Ah, the days of playing TTRPGs with electronic notebooks, before VR notebooks were invented.
In 100 years: Ah the days of playing RPGs with notebooks, before cerebral feeds were invented, and we still used tables.
In 200 years: What's an RPG? My only options are red pill or blue pill?

So the only question is, which color pill do you think you took this morning?
