Update v10.27.25

I updated this morning and everything went fine until I loaded FG and found i cannot resize a window. I can full screen or a preset size only on window mode. Did I not enable something new?

First, can you replicate in a new campaign with no extensions?

I'm not seeing this in my ruleset, but that doesn't mean much.

Well i restored a previous version for now but it was pathfinder 1e. I loaded up without any third party extensions or FG. Ibhad the legacy dark gui loaded. No other steps than loadup and since i cant have a pdf open side by side with this issue i just rolled the update back to the 9.19.25 patch. I did update it twice just to make sure it wasnt the updater but no change. The "handles" or arrows to resize window when you mouse to the lower right corner of window like normal are gone and mousing over any of the 4 borders does nothing. Fullscreen works but i dont use that unless im playing or running a game. I checked the console and no errors.
Once i rolled back, works fine again.

Im running windows 10,core i7, nvdia 3080 sli, decent stuff
Was thinking windows was messing with the scaling but the previous version works fine so....?

To clarify - is this the main FG application window, or windows within FG? If the main application window - does it occur on the main startup screen (before loading a campaign) or after loading a campaign?

The main window. The windows within fg worked normal. Both on load screen and in a pf1e campaign loaded. I tried 2 pf1e campaigns now i think about it.

I can't replicate. Both pf1e as is and with the extension Theme: Legacy - Dark loaded.
Both the application (main) FG window and the internal windows I have no problem resizing or moving them.
Can you by chance record a video?

Do note, Windows 10 was end of life a few weeks ago. You should upgrade if you can.

If you are running on the Dev branch (v5.0); the latest Unity game engine has the latest big security patch, but unfortunately has a regression with the window resizing arrow not appearing. You can still resize by grabbing near the edges, but it's a little finicky.

Yes I am using the dev version. I switched back to live. Dont know how that got flipped but....

I updated again to check and now its only loading v4.8.3 core 2025-09-09. I was having the problem with v5 2025-10-27. So i updated twice. Same september version. Just going to run with it i guess since v5 wont show up for a while....

Yeah, like I mentioned; the security fix came with the window resize regression, and there is no way to get the security patch without also inheriting that bug. I'm keeping an eye on it, so we can update our tools when they fix it.
