Purchased the Hellfire club starter set and am rather disappointed that the player maps from the boxed set are not included?
This is big departure from the usual quality releases of these types of products. I have the physical copy of this set, and it included
poster maps for the players.
Heroes of the Borderlands included all the player maps very well done, but this doesn't and its actually $5 more? Am I missing something somewhere or are they going to be provided on a future update? Maybe inadvertently not included?
The DM version of the maps that is in the booklets is the only thing provided. The poster maps are missing.

Player maps in FG are usually done with Layers on the master/DM map. I don't have this product, but take a look at the map that you think is the DM map. Does it have layers? Do the DM layers have the visibility set to DM only? If you unlock the map and turn on the layer control window on the image control panel, you should be able to see this.
You can also check in the module's Assets. All images used in the various layers are usually included there as well. So you can make a stand alone image if you don't like using the map with multiple layers.

Yes, the 'assets' are there. I found them after reading your post. So the 'Raw' map can be created. That still doesn't net you a functional player map without a lot additional work. I'm only evaluating this product by others that FG have released in a similar vein. Heroes of the Borderlands maps are all complete with LOS functionality and ready to play at purchase.
Importing an image to MAKE a map and do all the LOS work isn't something I'd expect to have to do with a product of this type.

No extra work needed.
See the screenshot below. The 'Base Map' layer is the player map. As you can see when you share this map only this layer along with the Fx layer is being shared with the players. The other layers are room numbers, traps, secret doors, and token preview all of which are only visible to the DM. So just like the Heroes of the Borderlands module and many other recent modules the player and DM maps are the same map but are layered in such a way that the players will only see the base map without any of the DM information rather than having two different maps.
Also the maps all have line of sight and lighting as you can see from the screenshot.

I did a quick check of the module, and the maps are as LordEntrails described. The maps contain DM and player information with the DM layers set to "GM Only." It may be somewhat confusing that the Hellfire Dome map is labelled "Hellfire Dome DM Map.04-05," but that is the map for players with the DM only layers. The other maps appeared to be named correctly.

Okay, I got it. It was definitely a bit confusing from what FG has released before. Thanks for the help
