Is there a D&D4E ruleset? If not, is there a plan to officially support 1?

The GSL appears to not allow a 4e ruleset for FG. Smiteworks seems to still be exploring their other options.

There is no official D&D 4th edition ruleset available as we speak. If you have followed the news on the new D&D, you probably know the adaptation of the 4th edition rules to Fantasy Grounds II is not as straigtforward as for the D&D 3.5E, from contractual viewpoint. Playing 4E can still be facilitated and let's just say, for now, that we are keen on that.

For what it's worth, I'll quickly go through what are the problems with playing 4E with the 3.5E ruleset. The d20 ruleset that is included in the FGII installation is 3.5E specific in the following respects:
character sheet
npc/monster sheet
some combat tracker stats
movement calculation (every other diagonal movement is counted as 2 instead of 1 - in 4E all diagonal moves are counted as 1)Most of the other features are edition (or more broadly game) neutral. Combat tracker can still be used to keep track of friends and foes, just some specific attributes work differently, images can be used, campaigns can be managed using the story book, ... Thus almost every aspect of the game can be played with the current edition and if you trust your players, they can have their character sheets in paper format, which pretty much completes the compatibility (given that the 4E system reference document does not contain monster, item, ... data anyway, but they have to be referenced from the books).

Still, this is not the solution we wish to offer but just a quick glance on what is really missing from the current implementation from what could make up a proper 4E ruleset.
