After loading my game to get ready for a session, the map from the last session was still loaded, with the remnants of the encounter still on the map. While sorting out the CT by deleting the dead NPCs, the tokens of any remaining NPCs suddenly disappeared. I then tried to find them from my assets but they were not available. Didn't think much of it, started the session regardless.

During the game, I needed access to a module that I had hot keyed, but when I tried to access it, FG told me it wasn't loaded/available. A quick search in the modules didn't find it. During a break in the game I found the name of the module from the store, and a quick search of the Vault folder discovered the module wasn't there.

After the game I ran the updater again and over 1 hour later, about 40-50% of my modules had to be downloaded again, as they had somehow all been deleted. They weren't in the Bin (MacOS).

They were random across all the files in the Vault, across a number of publishers, and were not all sequential, and I didn't notice much of a pattern, though it did appear that most/all of my Paizo products went missing. None of these were loaded, I was running a 5e game.

Thought i'd post for information, as updating FG has solved the problem, but more concerned how it happened in the first place.

Have you switched from the live to test channel, or switched back from test to live recently?

Have you changed your FG license key recently? This would require re downloading vault files as they are tied to your license key.

Do you happen to have your live campaign pointing to a cloud folder? ie OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. If so, don't. Use the automatic backup script linked in my signature to make up your campaign to a storage location.

I've never used the test channel for years, and only have the one license key since I joined. All I know that the files went missing after the table had loaded. But before anyone had joined.

Nope my Fantasy Ground folder including my campaigns are all on my drive on my laptop. No external links.

But thanks for the ideas.
