Hello, wondering if there is a way to alter the spell save DC for characters. I'm moving over to Fantasy Grounds from a different VTT, so have been porting over the characters from an ongoing campaign. Some of my characters have items that increase their spell save DC (Amulet of the Devout for cleric, Arcane Grimoire for wizard, etc), but adding the items to their character sheets doesn't affect the DC of their spells. I found where I can manually give them a bonus to DC, but I have to add the bonus to every single spell grouping, which is not the most convenient. Is there no way to simply apply a blanket DC bonus that applies to all spells?

Welcome to the message boards. :)

You probably want the SAVEDC: X; effect where you replace X with the bonus number. This increases the Difficulty of saves by X amount. You would want to place this effect on the combat tracker for that character.

You can also add a bonus to the save dc or spell attack into any spell power group https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996641917/5E+Character+Sheet#Spell-Power-Group

Thank you for the welcome, and thank you for the help. I found where I can add a bonus to a single spell group, but was hoping there was a way to apply it to all spells at once. My party are all 11th level, with 4 casters and a half caster, so having to apply it to 7 different spell groups for each is a little inconvenient. It sounds like making an effect for each caster is the way to go :) Thank you very much!

If you apply the bonus to one spell power group it will apply it to all of them.

Oh, perfect! I didn't realize that! Thank you so much!
