I am having a similar issue. At the end of a session in my campaign last week ( I always close out windows and maps, etc) everything was fine. I go on vacation, comeback and now it takes up massive CPU usage, maps pop open that were closed, blue circle wheel of timely boredom pops up, an error window opens and it takes 5 minutes to close anything (without closing FGU as a whole). Not sure I can get a compile logs with the CPU delays and issues within the windows.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if you're getting the error window popping up, it sounds like you may have some extensions that are throwing errors. You can also try loading without extensions to see if you see the same issues.

Well apparently, even though I have the campaign zipped, I'm unable to attach it. Every time I try to upload the file the uploader times out and I have try and start it again (yes it is below the size limit for the file).

How can I get the zip file to you for assiatance?

I'm as computer illiterate as they come. Probably a reason why this is so frustrating to me. Seems to happen every few weeks. FGU upgrades something and breaks 20 other things.
How do I share it to a cloud?

Use something like Dropbox or any of the other file sharing services.

But first of all test in a new campaign without extensions as Moon Wizard suggests to make sure the issue isn’t an extension.

Kinda, but you need to get a shared link to that folder. Access the folder menu and select "Copy Link" then paste that here.

Update: I worked with @RESmeCUE to get access to their campaign. Loading up the campaign gave a bunch of "C stack overflow" errors and the FG memory use hovered around 40GB and became unresponsive.

@RESmeCUE - as mentioned by Moon Wizard in post #3, things like this might be caused by extensions. In this case, disabling the "AD&D Options and House Rules" extension fixed the issue. I recommend reaching out to the dev of that extension.
