LFP – Looking for player for a long running campaign. Seeking mature and experienced 5E (2014) player who doesn’t mind a handful of House Rules because the play of the game is more important than the individual rules. We use Fantasy Grounds and Discord for this every other Friday night game. Next game is October 10 at 8:30PM EST.
In perhaps a great example of how I let my players control the narrative we had started playing The Scarlet Citadel. When my group wanted to go outside the module and into Midgard to pick up some SWAG I designed the outside adventure. During the process they ran into several events and took an interest in one of them. As such an overland adventure began along with the original Scarlet Citadel. As such each player has one 7th level character exploring SC and one 7th level character trying to save Midgard from complete destruction. This complex setup is why we need an experienced 5E player.
For reasons noted above the gameplay is complex. The SC adventures involve a lot of combat because, at its base it is a dungeon crawl. But it has an interesting story that ties to the overworld as well. The Midgard adventure is more a mix of roleplay and combat though whenever possible I try to put in at least one combat encounter for the evening.
We want a mature, stable player that can make 80+ percent of the Friday night games who fits in well with the other players, playing a Good or Neutral character. The players want to be able to depend upon your characters as much as you will depend upon them.
Game is alternating Friday nights from 8:30PM EST to 11:30PM EST.
