No matter what I do, I can no longer connect a client to a server running on the same machine. This behavior started after updating today.
I'm running FGU on an M4 MacBook Air and have done the following steps:
First Try:
1). Start FGU as server in cloud mode.
2). Open second instance of FGU using terminal with the following command:% open -n -a "FantasyGrounds". Second instance opens.
3). Connect second instance as client by clicking, "Jon Game", and then entering my name into the DM Name field. System throws License Failure error.
Second Try:
1). Start FGU as server in cloud mode.
2). Open second instance of FGU using terminal with the following command:% open -n -a "FantasyGrounds". Second instance opens.
3). Connect second instance as client by clicking, "Join Game", and then entering "localhost" into the IP address, while leaving the port blank. (It defaults to 1802.). System hangs and never logs in.
Third Try:
1). Start FGU as server in LAN mode.
2). Open second instance of FGU using terminal with the following command:% open -n -a "FantasyGrounds". Second instance opens.
3). Connect second instance as client by clicking, "Join Game", and then entering "localhost" into the IP address, while leaving the port blank. (It defaults to 1802.). System throws License Failure error.
This is entirely new behavior as previously, connecting via Method 1 worked just fine.
