Looks like the token movement in player view isn't accounting for walls blocking movement if the DM confirms. Players can request movement anywhere, including beyond LOS. I'm guessing that this is in support of illusion walls, but if the wall is not an illusion and _should_ block movement, it is allowed anyway in the player view, but not in the DM view.
Workaround: DM manually drags token back to where it should be, but player will have already seen beyond the wall.
1. Open image, edit, add wall line, set to block movement
2. Have a player join and take control of a token
3. Have the player request movement beyond the line, DM confirms.
Player view: Token moves to the requested location, and gains all LOS at that position.
DM view: Token is blocked at the wall.
4. Have the player request movement elsewhere, DM confirms.
Player view: Token moves from the observed starting parting point to the requested destination.
DM view: Token teleports to the player's claim of starting location, then moves to the requested destination.
This makes it very easy to get out of pits or beyond doors.
I can only attach 5 images, but hopefully that's enough to demonstrate.
