Number of Players in game & needed: Four existing players. Looking for one or two more to round out the team
Character starting level & equipment: Currently level 12, starting equipment would be standard WBL for that, with the usual restrictions
Character restrictions: We're currently using only 1st-party material--any 3rd-party stuff would have to be checked in with the GM. We don't tend to have enough downtime for crafting, so a crafting-based PC will probably be frustrated.
Details of your scenario: We've been playing Reign of Winter now for a almost two years, and are currently in the middle of book 4 (currently just leveled to 12). We have a pretty solid group of four players, but would love to add a fifth. Current PCs are generally good-leaning (with exceptions) and chaotic-leaning. Not particularly high-optimization builds (e.g. we have a cleric/wizard/mystic theurge), but generally fairly capable and flexible. No obvious gaps, but plenty of places to specialize or generalize.
GM prefers combats to have story relevance, so tends to handwave "grindy" parts of the AP, making room for more character interaction, exploration, etc. That said, not a lot of "acting" in the roleplaying (no voices, for example). And, of course, it's PF1e, so there are definitely still combats.
Overall, laid-back group of adults who like spending a few hours every couple weeks exploring other worlds trying to track down Baba Yaga.
