Player Portrait Problems

Hi, I'm having issues with one of the pc's portrait its not showing correctly in the character image & combat tracker, anybody any thoughts?

Try removing and re-adding the PC in the combat tracker.

I've tried that, The problem I think is a earlier than that stage, as you can see by the image of the "token - flat". Other characters tokens appear with the hexagon border in all three sections. The other odd thing is that this and only this character has a delete icon on the end which I find very strange

In the below graphic you can see which images show up where in the various windows:

Note the following:
- The Image in the Portrait field shows up on the Party Sheet and in the player character listing above the Chat Window.
- The image in the Token-Flat shows up in the Combat Tracker.
- Token-Camera would be the one that shows up on a map when in 3D view
- I am not sure about the Delete button next to all the characters in the Combat Tracker, but since I, as the GM in the picture I should have that button. I think your question should be, why DON'T the other characters in your Combat Tracker have the Delete button. I don't have an answer to that question. no matter where I add a character or NPC from, I always have the Delete button next to anything in my Combat Tracker.

I noticed that you seem to be using a blue theme for Traveller. Just as a test, I would suggest turning that off temporarily to make sure that is not causing UI issues.

I loaded up the Cepheus Blue theme and I think it is the theme causing your Delete button question:

From my quick testing, there is something in the Cepheus Blue Theme that puts the Delete button next to the NPC and not the player characters in the Combat Tracker.

But, the character in question is a PC not an NPC and only on that one out of the 4 pc's on the combat tracker. From unloading the theme, I still find even a NPC doesn’t have the delete button as standard, just this one PC.

Who is the owner of that character?

In my testing, no owner or GM owner for a Character Record will cause the Delete Button to show up:

This picture is from an active Campaign where my players own most of the characters. Note that Trax Valan does not have an owner.

Is it even possible to Lock a Character Record? NPC's, yes, but I don't think you can lock a player character sheet.

Yes, you can. But maybe not in this ruleset. I just noticed this was Traveller which I am not familiar with so my comment is probably superfluous.

Thanks for the assistance guys, It is a player owned character, I have however fixed it another way, although I still don't know what caused the problem in the first place.

I deleted the Token flat image on the character sheet and dragged the image from the portraits along the top of the screen onto the character on the combat tracker, I even turned the blue theme back on & everything is working correctly.

Very odd, but solved
