Questions for Doug and the team. How viable are some of these unity plugins I see in Humble bundle or elsewhere to add features and functionality FG? For example I’ve purchased bundles from Ovani Sound and they have plugins for Unity that allow for some features that would be nice to have in FG.
If we could have a native sound engine that didn’t require Syrinscape a web player or some patch work for local sounds, that also allows to place sound on a map similar to how lights work that are block or muffed by walls and where each player only hears the sound relevant to them. You could reference how Foundry currently handles sounds for what I am describing.
Here are some links to the plugins I mentioned above:

Do they work on Mac and Linux and Windows?

Given that they have no reviews, seem to lack much technical details and the company might be new (?), I would be very leery of any such integration (last thing we need is the plug-in not being supported in 2 years). SmiteWorks has said in the past that they are not opposed to sound, but simply there are many many other features much higher on their priority list given that there are workable solutions for the majority of sound use cases.
So yes, I would be interested in the devs response, but I think it would be more general and not to these plug-ins in particular.

These plugins are more just the sound than anything else. (Plenty of those out there.)
The real work is how to integrate audio to work within the Fantasy Grounds app and potentially pushing the trigger data to players where possible. And as stated previously, that all requires maintenance, adaptation, and maybe a more vast library to cover most of the core rule sets, thus increasing the app's base footprint too.

We do not look at Unity plugins as a whole; but look at which plugins/libraries help us deliver the features that are already on the internal roadmap. We have reviewed and used (or skipped after review) many libraries and plugins over the years.
One of the challenges as mentioned is that not all Unity plugins are well-supported (often published by one-man teams); and getting support for Windows, Mac and Linux is not guaranteed.
